"There is no kind of peace which may be purchased on the bargain counter." -- Carey McWilliams
It isn't often that an adroit, seasoned politician with skilled, wary handlers will just blurt out the God's honest truth in front of a large audience...but then, Barack Hussein Obama isn't a seasoned politician, and his handlers are rather arrogant:
...Israel is at a crossroads. It can be tempting to put aside the frustrations and sacrifices that come with the pursuit of peace, particularly when Iron Dome repels rockets, barriers keep out suicide bombers, there are so many other pressing issues that demand your attention. And I know that only Israelis can make the fundamental decisions about your country’s future. I recognize that....So peace is necessary. But peace is also just. Peace is also just. There is no question that Israel has faced Palestinian factions who turn to terror, leaders who missed historic opportunities. That is all true. And that’s why security must be at the center of any agreement. And there is no question that the only path to peace is through negotiations, which is why, despite the criticism we’ve received, the United States will oppose unilateral -- unilateral efforts to bypass negotiations through the United Nations. It has to be done by the parties.
But the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination, their right to justice must also be recognized. And put yourself in their shoes. Look at the world through their eyes.
It is not fair that a Palestinian child cannot grow up in a state of their own, living their entire lives with the presence of a foreign army that controls the movements, not just of those young people but their parents, their grandparents, every single day. It’s not just when settler violence against Palestinians goes unpunished. It’s not right to prevent Palestinians from farming their lands or restricting a student’s ability to move around the West Bank, or displace Palestinian families from their homes. Neither occupation nor expulsion is the answer. Just as Israelis built a state in their homeland, Palestinians have a right to be a free people in their own land.
There's a strong chance that Obama is merely reading a speech written for him by one of his Muslim-Brotherhood-affiliated "advisors." There's virtually no chance that he believes his own bullshit. However, he might expect his audience to believe it.
"Settler violence against Palestinians" -- ? "Prevent Palestinians from farming their lands" -- ? "Restricting a student's ability to move around the West Bank" -- ? "Displace Palestinian families from their homes" -- ?
When did any such things happen? Where's the evidence? Where are the aggrieved victims? Where are the corpses? The Israelis have treated the Palestinians so gently that the latter have taken to faking evidence of Israeli atrocities -- every accusation of which has been conclusively disproved.
Given the rabidly anti-Israel sentiments that pervade the Main Stream Media, even a hint of such events would have made international headlines in 72-point type. We'd never hear another word about Camp X-Ray or Abu Ghraib. Meanwhile, the Palestinians do their damnedest to hurt the Israelis at every opportunity...and God help you if you reside in the Palestinian autonomous zones and are accused of "collaboration with Israel."
But the dead giveaway is here:
It can be tempting to put aside the frustrations and sacrifices that come with the pursuit of peace, particularly when Iron Dome repels rockets, barriers keep out suicide bombers, there are so many other pressing issues that demand your attention.
Obama has actually implied that the Israelis ought to be more vulnerable to Palestinian terror attacks. In the interests of "peace!"
This foul creature, who has somehow finessed his way into the Oval Office, is the greatest threat, not just to the United States but to freedom and justice anywhere on Earth that Mankind has ever suffered. And we have to endure him for another three and a half years. Barring a sudden outbreak of sanity, decency, and patriotism in Congress, of course.

"Foul creature" is entirely too kind a description.
"It is not fair that a Palestinian child cannot grow up in a state of their own, living their entire lives with the presence of a foreign army that controls the movements, not just of those young people but their parents, their grandparents, every single day."
Why is it NOT FAIR that a Jewish child can't grow up without the threat of a Palestinian terrorist taking it's life?
And since when does a Palestinian DESERVE a state? Palestinians came mostly from Jordan. And there is absolutely no historical evidence of a Palestinian nation, ethos or people. What we call Palestinians are arabs who lived in the historical homeland of the Jews and it neighboring lands.
Oh, I get it. After we give the illegal immigrants - oops, sorry, undocumented workers - a path to citizenship, we then should cede them their rightful state of California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.
Actually, that makes more sense, since at least "Americans" weren't in the southwest (although neither were Mexicans) while Jews WERE in Jerusalem, Judea, etc.
...or barring the suspension of the presidential term limit.
Just remember to pray for the preservation of the presidential term limit.
